Buchanan Library, Lethbridge College

A renovation of the Buchanan Library at Lethbridge College has created a hub for student learning, resources, and innovation.  The renovation created a more comfortable Learning Commons area, added a 3D printing station, incorporated a learning cafe, and integrated the college’s Centre for Teaching, Learning and Innovation into the library space. 

There has been a fundamental shift in the post-secondary realm on how students learn and study. This shift includes increasing the accessibility for laptop users and enriching the environment for teaching and learning. Students can enjoy the comfortable furniture for their long study periods and the flexibility to collaborate with others or find a quite space.
