Calgary New Central Library

As the city’s largest public investment since the 1988 Olympics, the New Central Library is a cultural hub of learning and innovation. This 240,400 square foot building offers a collection of approximately 600,000 physical books, special program areas and spaces for children and teens.

The furniture which was supplied and installed by HBI further beautifies the space while complimenting the architectural features of the building. The library has welcomed millions of visitors who come to experience a truly remarkable destination in Calgary.

To encourage browsing of books and other items, HBI provided custom shelving with embedded lights which illuminates the materials in an innovative way.
